October is a big month. We have our fab-boo-lously fun Desert Spooktacular Show just around the corner!

​

Our Annual Desert Spooktacular Performance will take place Saturday, October 28th! We hope to see all our Family and Friends to celebrate our PowerKids.

Rehearsal Information for Saturday, October 21st:

​

Students enrolled in the Desert Spooktacular can join us for a free rehearsal Saturday, October 21st from 1:00-3:00 pm.  Please let your kiddos know that this rehearsal will NOT be an open gym/rehearsal combo, but instead a chance to practice the show.

​

EARLY BIRD ENROLLMENT INFORMATION:

​

If you have signed up with early bird enrollment (deadline Friday, October 6th)...

​

- Leotard or T-shirt pickup will be available during Friday, October 20th Open Gym/Rehearsal and/or Saturday, October 21st rehearsal from 1:00-3:00.  If you will be unavailable during these events, you may pick up your child's leotard or shirt during after your regular class during the week of October 23rd-27th.

​

- Early Bird enrollments will join us for POWERKIDS SESSION 2, with a report time between 3:00-3:30 (see www.desertspooktacular.com for additional updates as we move closer to our event).

​

- If you enrolled via early bird enrollment/option 1, you are also invited to participate in complimentary open gym/rehearsals from 6:30-7:30 pm on Friday, October 6, 13, 20th.

​

It's not too late to sign up! 

Print out the enrollment form (also available at the office) and deliver it to your coach or office staff to get in on all the fun!  Staff will be available to help students walk through the routines and assist your child in feeling successful... even if you are new to our program.  Come join the spooky fun and celebrate fall PowerKids style!

We are thrilled to announce that the Spooktacular event is just around the corner, and we can't wait to make it an unforgettable evening of fun and excitement! Here are the final event details to help you plan your visit:

 

Event Information:

Date: Saturday, October 28, 2023

Location: PowerKids Center - 77962 Palapas Rd. Palm Desert, CA 92211

Gymnast Check-in: 3:00 – 3:30 PM

Please bring your gymnast to the main lobby door to check them in and drop them off before heading to the admissions line.

Ticket Information:

Pre-sale tickets are available until 8 PM on Friday, October 27, 2023.

General admission pre-sale ticket price: $15 per ticket

Military/Senior (with ID) pre-sale ticket price: $15 per ticket (same price at the door)

Children 2-10 years old admission pre-sale ticket price: $10 (same at the door)

General admission price at the door: $20 per ticket – cash only

How to Purchase Pre-sale Tickets:

Log on to your iClass Parent Portal account.

Click on "Products."

Select your preferred ticket type.

Follow the prompts to complete your payment.

If you prefer a QR code, please follow this link. Remember to sign in to your iClass account before purchasing tickets, do not purchase as a guest.

Important Notes:

Please keep your confirmation email as you will need it to pick up your tickets.

Pre-sale ticket pickup will be separate from general admission, when you arrive please follow the signage to the Pre-sale ticket pick up line.

General admission will be cash only at the event.

Event Schedule:

General admission sales open at 3:00 PM

On-site ticket sales will be cash only. Please do not use large bills. It is recommended that you take advantage of the pre-sale ticket option to eliminate the need to pay at the event.

Doors for spectators open at 3:30 PM.

The event starts promptly at 3:45 PM.

Parking:

The PowerKids parking lot will be closed on the day of the event. Please park across the street or in the cul-de-sac adjacent to the gym.

Preschool Performers:

Preschool gymnasts (Fantastic Flippers and Be One gymnasts) will be the first to perform and will be dismissed immediately following their performance.

Dismissal will be in the lobby. At the conclusion of the pre-school performance, please make your way out the side doors and to the lobby to pick up your gymnast.

The Trunk or Treat will be open in a limited fashion at this time. If you wish to go trunk or treating right away, please let us know at dismissal so we can take the group around. If you would prefer to experience the truck or treat and other activities fully open, please feel free to stick around until the end of the session.

Trunk or Treat:

There will be a small Trunk or Treat in the parking lot following the event.

Parents must always accompany children while outside.

Don't forget to bring a bag to collect treats. 

We will have other vendors outside as well. Most will be cash only, so be sure to plan ahead and bring cash along.

Open Gym:

Open gym is available to all Spooktacular participants over the age of 5.

Open gym will begin at the conclusion of the event and end at 8:30 PM. Please be sure to sign your child in before leaving the building and sign them out at pick-up time.
